Park Ridge School District's Mission Statement
The Park Ridge School District is committed to the mission of educating all students to achieve the New Jersey Student Learning Standards at all grade levels. The district will nurture all students to be life long learners, ethical and responsible citizens, and independent, productive members of a global society.
Registration for the 2017-2018 school year is open!
Please be sure to print, complete and hand in a registration form to the EXTRAS program. The staff will use it as your contact sheet.
All balances must be paid in order for your child to attend 2017-18 EXTRAS.
Effective 2/1/16, the Weekly system will be utilized for all EXTRAS registrations. Please make sure you are registered online so that you can utilize the system. You can still mail in checks for payment but you need to use the website to enroll your children for the program. If you are having a problem or do not have access to a computer, please contact either Janine Giordano or Bob Wright.
ATTENTION PARENTS: EXTRAS OPENS at 7:30 am, no earlier!
On behalf of the program we will be extending the time to register for the upcoming week to each Monday until 7a.m.
If your child is not registered by Monday at 7a.m. you will be charged a $25.00 late fee. Any arrangements made after 7a.m. on Monday will be charged a one time late fee for that week.
If you do not tell us by Monday you will need to pay the drop-in fee.
During our inaugural roll-out of the Weekly registration system, we uncovered an error in how the system handled multiple child discounts. Apparently, the system added the cost instead of subtracting it. The software programmer has informed me that the problem is now corrected. If you used the Weekly Registration system and registered more than one child, please review your transaction. If there was an error, please contact me so I can adjust it immediately.
I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Beginning in January, the EXTRAS registration process will allow you to request attendance by week as opposed to by month. That’s right, you read it correctly. There will be no more need to complete the worksheets. You can do it all online. Here are some Important things you need to know with the new system…
· If you already registered and have an account online, you are fine. For those people who have only used the worksheets, you will need to register and create an account online. Registration is quick and easy and can be done right now using the old system. Just use the following link to begin the process https://register.communitypass.net/ParkRidge
· While you can register your child for as much as a month in advance, you will not be able to receive a refund for any days missed. Although this has always been the case, it will be strictly enforced.
As always, if you have any questions on the new system, please feel free to contact either Janine Giordano or Robert Wright.
Fall 2017-18 registration is now open.
EXTRAS registration is now available. You can only register through Community Pass for the entire month if your schedule is consistent for each week. There will be no more cycles but rather months. That means some months will have four weeks, some five weeks.
Payment can be made by credit card or check using this link to Community Pass.
If you plan to attend for a “partial” month for example, if you want to register for two days one week and three days another, you will need to follow the following steps:
First, you MUST fill out a Registration Form .
Second, you MUST pay by check one week prior to the period you need.
There will be no exceptions to this. If you intend to use the program for the entire month, you must use the online form and cannot change your program preference by week.
Payment must be made by check no less than a week in advance of attendance.
Please be advised that the Drop-in fee remains $25.00 per day.
Switching Days is not permitted. If you do not use a day you pay for and would like to add an additional day to the same week you must pay the $25.00 drop-in fee.
There will be NO exceptions to this.
